Joseph Williams Re-Elected

Hats off to Joseph Williams, M.A. Social Impact '17, on his re-election to the Board of Trustees of the San Bernardino Community College District. We had the honor of attending his Swearing-In ceremony this month (Pictured above). Joseph is the Founder and CEO of the Youth Action Project (YAP) and has served youth and adults of the Inland Empire for the past fourteen years. YAP integrates youth popular culture in its program to engage positive dialogue, decision-making, and actions that will improve educational and workforce outcomes. Last month, YAP was presented with a check for $500,000 from the U.S. Department of Justice for an e3p3 project designed to fight Youth Opioid abuse. More updates from this project to come...
