Dr. Diana Asaad Joins CLU as the New Dean of Student Affairs
On March 5th, 2018, Claremont Lincoln University (CLU) hired Dr. Diana Asaad as the new Dean of Student Affairs with oversight of student services, financial aid, and enrollment management. Dr. Asaad will play a critical role in streamlining the student experience from admission to graduation and achieving the University’s strategic goals of growing enrollments and increasing student retention. Dr. Asaad has spent the last eight years in higher education in various roles including Regional Career Services & Business Development Director, Academic Dean for Student Affairs & Instruction, and Director of International Affairs. Dr. Asaad has recruited, retained, and provided academic support to students at the undergraduate and graduate level throughout her career. She has a B.S. in International Business Administration, a Master of Business Administration, and an Ed.D. in Community College Leadership. “The philosophy and success of Dr. Asaad are centered on the principle of positive engagement and mirror the qualities of our Claremont Core® – mindfulness, dialogue, collaboration and positive change,” said Dr. Eileen Aranda, President of Claremont Lincoln University. “We are excited to have her on our team and we look forward to the leadership she will bring to the student experience at CLU."
