Meet Melanie Martinez, a dedicated public administrator at the City of Claremont, CA—a valued employer partner of Claremont Lincoln University (CLU).

While working in the City Manager’s office, Melanie enrolled in CLU’s online Master in Public Administration program where she was inspired by her faculty who were both scholars and industry professionals.

For her Capstone Project, Melanie researched a new version of the city’s Citizen Feedback System to enhance communication between the city and its residents. She identified limitations in the outdated technology, researched best practices, and explored grant opportunities and technology solutions.

Melanie looks forward to applying the tools and knowledge she has learned during her MPA program into her professional career working for the city, and for the betterment of the community.
