Admission Requirements

Please submit the following to be considered for admission into Claremont Lincoln University.

Online Application

To begin the admission process, please complete and submit the online admission application.

Unofficial Bachelor’s Transcripts

Unofficial transcripts may be submitted for evaluation purposes (including the demonstration of completion of a regionally accredited bachelor’s degree with a cumulative 3.0 GPA). If admitted and you choose to enroll, official transcripts must be submitted from all colleges and/or universities attended.

Applicants with a cumulative GPA of less than 3.0 will submit responses to these additional questions within the online application:

  1. Please provide a context that will help us understand why your GPA is below 3.0.
  2. What are some examples of relevant academic and/or professional experiences that have prepared you to succeed in a rigorous graduate program? Be sure to address specifically the program you are applying for at Claremont Lincoln University.

Essay Questions

In lieu of a traditional personal statement, you’ll respond to the following questions within the online admission application:

  1. Please describe first what motivated you to apply for a specific degree program at Claremont Lincoln University (i.e., Ethical Leadership, Interfaith Action, or Social Impact). What do you hope to gain from your experience at CLU? Complete this first essay in approximately 300 words.

  2. At Claremont Lincoln University, students are required to complete a Capstone Project that implements measurable change in a specific context. Please tell us about your current personal or professional context where you believe you can implement change. Next, tell us why you would like to bring a specific change into that context. As part of your discussion, be sure to define the values that inspire your desire for change. Complete this second essay in approximately 500 words.

Letter of Reference

One letter of reference that speaks to your current professional, volunteer or academic context.
