Unofficial Bachelor’s Transcripts
Unofficial transcripts may be submitted for evaluation purposes (including the demonstration of completion of a regionally accredited bachelor’s degree with a cumulative 3.0 GPA). If admitted and you choose to enroll, official transcripts must be submitted from all colleges and/or universities attended.
Applicants with a cumulative GPA of less than 3.0 will submit responses to these additional questions within the online application:
- Please provide a context that will help us understand why your GPA is below 3.0.
- What are some examples of relevant academic and/or professional experiences that have prepared you to succeed in a rigorous graduate program? Be sure to address specifically the program you are applying for at Claremont Lincoln University.
In lieu of a traditional personal statement, you’ll respond to the following questions within the online admission application:
Please describe first what motivated you to apply for a specific degree program at Claremont Lincoln University (i.e., Ethical Leadership, Interfaith Action, or Social Impact). What do you hope to gain from your experience at CLU? Complete this first essay in approximately 300 words.
At Claremont Lincoln University, students are required to complete a Capstone Project that implements measurable change in a specific context. Please tell us about your current personal or professional context where you believe you can implement change. Next, tell us why you would like to bring a specific change into that context. As part of your discussion, be sure to define the values that inspire your desire for change. Complete this second essay in approximately 500 words.
Letter of Reference
One letter of reference that speaks to your current professional, volunteer or academic context.
Graduates of foreign universities at which English is not the primary language must submit valid, official, internet based (iBT) Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores. Computer based test (CBT) scores will only be accepted if applicant lives in a country that does not offer the iBT. Please request that scores be sent from ETS to Claremont Lincoln University (school code: 2241). Requests for a TOEFL waiver are considered on an individual basis.
International Transcript Evaluation
Graduates of foreign universities must submit an official course-by-course international transcript evaluation from one of the approved credential evaluation service agencies listed below to the Office of Admission.
