Spiritual Care Association (SCA) Scholarship
(M.A. in Interfaith Action)

Claremont Lincoln University has entered into a collaboration with the Spiritual Care Association (SCA), the first multidisciplinary, international professional membership association for spiritual care providers that establishes evidence-based quality indicators, scope of practice, and a knowledge base for spiritual care in health care. The collaboration, effective immediately, allows those seeking to become a Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) under the SCA to fulfill the academic requirement of its board certification guidelines through the CLU Masters in Interfaith Action Program. This 30-unit, online Master of Arts in Interfaith Action program at CLU helps students develop the social, religious, collaborative engagement, and self-reflection skills needed to become an interfaith ambassador – critical skills and perspectives that are imperative to the continued growth and success of a spiritual care provider or chaplain.

Through this relationship, Claremont Lincoln University is offering scholarships to admitted students who are SCA members. Award amounts will vary based on the strength of the applicant’s record.
